Eleven Years

Happy Anniversary to my most favorite one of all!

He knows my highs, and he knows my lows - and yet he still loves me more than anyone else on the planet.  He deserves way more than I could give him, but he chose me for this journey.

For eleven years, we've trudged on loving each other the best we know how.  I have moments where I'm fantastic at being his wife.  At other times (most times), he's ridiculously good at being my husband.  When we're on the same page, it's nearly perfect.

Poor Bill got sick Friday night.  I didn't even hear him wake up around 3am to spend time in the bathroom.  When I woke up the next morning, he wasn't in our room.  I called for him, and he was laying on the couch with a sore stomach - yuck.  Thankfully it was just one horrible round of sickness - we're blaming it on too much awesome food at once.

We went back to that antique store, and they were open!  We picked up a ridiculously cute mini Radio Flyer for Miss Evangeline.  Look how much she loves it:


We booked massages at an adorable day spa.

After dinner at the bbq place, I forced Bill to take pictures
so we could have some visual evidence of our trip.

We slept in, and it was AMAZING.

I got to shower and get ready without feeling distracted or rushed.

Dear Espy and Gianna,

Please don't be offended that we went away without you!  I know it's hard to understand why in the world your mom and dad would want to go have fun without you, but soon enough you'll understand - and then you'll be grossed out at the thought of your parents kissing and stuff.
