Memory Loss

There are probably ten thousand things that our girls have said that I find hilarious - that I promise myself I'll remember, but of course - I don't.
Thus the random conversations below...

On singing together:
ISABELLA
We're great songers, Momma.

School Days

I was going through some of the girls' work from this past school year
(I realize it's already the end of July - I'm such a slacker!), and found these keepers:

I love my Mom.
My moma is sweet because she loves me.

Reunion Fun

sweet Tito Al and Sarah
My mom grew up with eight brothers and sisters.  My dad is the youngest of six.
You can imagine how large our family gets after that.

My sister, her husband, and three of my cousins (and their families) are in Chicago right now visiting one of my uncles.  Know that there will be lots of loud talking, laughing, picture-taking, and eating.

Funky Monkeys

The Husband took Miss Espy and the big kids to King's Dominion today.
They're having a blast I'm sure.

The rest of us are having an off day of sorts.
The girls (except for Espy) woke up sassy, and I woke up - unsettled.
Because of our funkiness, I cleared the schedule for the day and tossed the ToDo list aside.  The girls

The Beach

Oh, vacay - we miss you so!

We spent a week at the beach with Bill's sister and her family, PaPa, and NeNe - and it was fantastic.  My mom and sister were able to come for a couple of days at the end of the week, and that was an added treat.  The girls enjoy spending time with their cousins, and they love love LOVE to swim.

It seems that craftiness runs in my both my sisters' blood because Jennifer (my SIL) had crafts for them

The night before the 4th, our family enjoyed a night together at Busch Gardens.  Bill and Espy rode Verbolten, and Isabella rode Le Scoot Log Flume for the first time.  She wasn't a fan of the big

Dipping Jesus

We headed to the beach yesterday afternoon to baptize four of our brothers.  On our way to the water, Isabella and I had a fantastic conversation:

GRACE
What's Pastor Bob going to do at the beach?

ISABELLA
Dip Jesus.

GRACE
No, he's not dipping Jesus.

ISABELLA
Dipping the people.

GRACE
Why is he dipping our friends?

ISABELLA
Because they love Jesus!

After the baptism, the girls insisted on going into the water.  Isabella tried to argue that she didn't need to wear clothes while she played.  I convinced her otherwise.  Instead, she rode home from the beach sans clothing.
