Chocolate Twinkie Cake

Gianna and THE Cake
PART THREE
As promised, here is the third recipe you'll want to keep forever and ever.
This is
the. most. requested. cake
in our family -
daughters, sons, mothers, fathers, in-laws, outlaws, etc.

What kind of cake do you want for your birthday?
What should I make for the holidays?

Everyone's coming into town - what should we have for dessert?

The answer is (without hesitation):
Twinkie Cake!

It's really called Chocolate Twinkie Cake, but we lovingly refer to it as Twinkie Cake.  We fell in love with this cake when NeNe (The Husband's momma) made it for us one weekend.  We've been begging her to make it ever since.

I made it for the first time ever for some friends on Memorial Day.  It wasn't as pretty as a Judy Twinkie Cake, but we managed to make ourselves eat it.

That cake isn't even made from scratch, Grace.
Mock us if you will,
but we are in love with this cake -
and nothing will change how much we adore it.
Nothing.
